Precision is the key to ensure the architectural design of the building comfortably blends with the house's airflow.

Building a weekend home that is devoted to relaxing should provide maximum comfort. Adjustment is needed when spaces that were
once left open to maximize natural airflow that need to be installed with air conditioning to provide a comfortable atmosphere at home
despite the heat. As the ceiling is not too high and the room size is big, it is a challenge in itself to make the room still feels spacious and not stuffy.

In these conditions, adding the usual-sized ducting for AC placement is not an option. The installation needs to be done as carefully as possible by spreading the points of airflow so that the entire room feels cool without giving the full impression of the ceiling. Cooperation with architects in applying this technique is essential so that the overall design aesthetic is not affected, and the cold air flows evenly to provide full comfort for its occupants. Several design points that need to be compromised to place the AC units, as well as elements like wood panels that need to be disassembled for AC maintenance.

Inevitably, sometimes beautiful design pays less attention to other supporting factors, such as the placement of air conditioners. For example, a short distance between floors should not an obstacle to hiding air conditioning units. With careful calculation, the air distribution will remain maximal. If the measurement is not precise, then there will be wind gusts accompanied by whistling sounds. However, this mistake is very avoidable.

With good cooperation and communication between architects and air conditioning contractors, unnecessary addition or wall-bending can be avoided to build a comfortable and aesthetic home. Keep in mind, improper placement of air conditioners may result in airflow being gushed to the head or other parts of the body continuously
which may harm the occupants’ health. This needs to be avoided and can be achieved with a good partnership between the designers and contractors.
